Work Baby Shower

This week two of my sweet friends from work hosted a fantastic baby shower for me. Here they are - Jessica, swollen me & Teresa!

Teresa set up several games including guess the number of diapers. Well, there were 924 and I got to take them all home. Heck ya, saving money!

Jill was the guest bartender. She made a lovely champagne, vodka, lemonade drink. I could only have the smallest sip.

Jessica made this adorable diaper cake. When I brought it home, Holton wanted to immediately take it apart and steal the stickers on there.

Oh ya, we played that "how big is her belly" game. Always flattering.

How cute is this personalized step stool? Love it!

Teresa's mom made Baby Baby this beautiful quilt!

Group shot of the girls!

We all had a great time and I was so appreciative of everyone coming out on a school night.

Another weekend, another party!

In Texas when the temperatures are 100+, it's very hard to have an outdoor party without a pool involved. So, we have these lovely indoor bounce house places.

On Saturday Holton was invted to his little class mate's birthday party. He was so excited to see all of his friends from school and he wasn't shy a bit!

His friends, Tony & Alexa

Here is Holton saying "cheese" for anyone that wanted to take his picture.

I had to take a picture to prove he ate a whole piece of pizza! (That's a rare thing. He definitely doesn't have my appetite).

What can happen at a party

We are so lucky to have great neighbors right next door. They are a young family with two little girls. Holton loves to play with Hallie, who happened to turn 3 this past weekend. Holton was so excited to go to her birthday party.

Before the kids went outside to play in the wet water slide bounce house, they all sang to Hallie. Apparently Holton wasn't feeling it...check out the video.

Then he cried when Hallie blew out her candles. Yep, wasn't embarrassing at all... I guess he wanted his turn. So, everyone indulged us while they re lit her candles and his mood seemed to improve.

Now notice the difference in his mood with this video.

He loved the bounce house and was even more happy when Hallie would pay attention to him. Maybe being the only little boy at the party wasn't too bad after all.

Baby Baby's photo shoot!

We went for the 4D pictures of Baby Baby today. My doctor's office does them now, so it was very convenient. It's always so much fun to get a better idea of what your little baby looks like.

Here are a couple shots of his face. Adam and I were shocked at how much he looks like Holton! He totally has his nose and little mouth. Of course, we think he's adorable at 33 weeks. (We aren't in any way biased).

Now check out this picture! His eyes are open! This is when he had his foot & hand by his nose.

Isn't he precious with his open mouth and chubby cheeks?

The whole time, I mean the whole time, he kept his hands by his face or in his mouth. This shows you his hands stuck to his face. That was his favorite position.

Here are his 5 little toes

Already a political activist. Throwing up the piece sign.

A side view, open mouth shot.

Baby Baby is a mover and a shaker! He moved the entire time we tried to get pictures, but rarely took his hand away from his face. We had a heck of a time with him! We think it's a sign of what's to come with his little personality.

But, we are so blessed that everything looks a-ok with Baby Baby. Not too much longer before he'll make his debut.

A day in the life of Holton

First, Holton was very proud to show off the new song he learned at school.

Then, he wanted to try on part of his old Halloween Costume.

He wrapped us his day with a quick game of basketball.

He lives a very active life these days!
