First let me say that I realize I've been a less than consistent blog updater! I will try to do better mom (I really think she's the only one who reads this).
Anyhoo, last fall we were all thrilled to find out that my little brother Patrick and his wife Amanda are expecting their first child! Yep, baby Kelly will arrive in July! And I must hand it to them, they are much braver than me. They are not finding out the sex of the baby. They want it to be a complete surprise when they meet their new little one! Not to worry gals, Amanda already found some adorable unisex nursery bedding!
And then back in January I was feeling horrible one day at work. Sure enough, it was baby #2 letting us know that he/she was on it's way. Last week we found out that we are having another baby boy. Holton is very excited about this news. He really wanted a brother. Our new addition should arrive around September 20th! It's so exciting for us that Baby King and Baby Kelly will be so close in age.
Adam and I know we are blessed to be able to expand our family. But, after September I'm officially retiring from the pregnancy business. Bring on the coffee and cold Miller Lite ;)

A classy night out
So what did we do a few weeks back to entertain our 3 year old? We took him out to the brand new Cowboy Stadium to see the Monster Truck show! Oh yea, NASCAR, Monster Truck shows....starting to see a trend in the King Family?
Standing outside of Jerry World aka Cowboy Stadium. It was very, very impressive!

And it is true, you find yourself watching the massive HD TV screen instead of the live action. This thing was huge! I couldn't get over it.

This was Holton's favorite truck...named Grave Digger! Now isn't that nice? He was a fan favorite though.

Holton loved the show! He didn't even mind the noise. Of course, a little popcorn didn't hurt.

And we made the mistake of waiting until the show was over to try and buy Holton some truck souvenirs. Let me tell ya, we will never make that rookie mistake again! I finally had to pay a lady $5.00 to include our order with hers.
Yep, another successful classy event! It was all worth it to see the smile on Holton's face.

Holton's first school dance
Holton's school had a Valentine's Dance a few weeks back. He was very excited to go, although he didn't dance at all!
The whole place was decorated and each room had a different event or theme. Holton loved playing in this room because he got a prize. Notice the really fancy jump rope? He's not hard to impress.

Then we moved on to the "tattoo room". He was pretty skeptical at first, but then was impressed with his new "ink".

And finally they had a room with a DJ, disco ball, and dancing. All the little girls looked so cute in their fanciest of dresses. Holton pretty much just stood there and acted very shy while watching the other kids dance.
But for some reason, this room kept calling his name. He made us go in there twice! It must have been all the eye candy ;)
