The boys went hunting
Last week, Adam, my dad and my brother all loaded up to go to Colorado for their annual hunting trip. Nothing gets in the way of this tradition - nothing! Adam even went last year when I was 8 1/2 months pregnant (can we say obsessed). Adam has already said that Holton will be joining the hunting crew in four years. In preparation for that monumental event, Holton helped the hunting boys load everything up.

The pumpkin patch
Even though we live in the city, we ventured out to a pumpkin patch on Saturday! I'd never been to one before but I hear it's a right of passage with your kids. So Dee, Kaylee, Holton and I all loaded up to go take pictures and let the babies pick out their first pumpkins. Only in Texas would it be nearly 100 degrees that day!
Holton loved hitting the pumpkins (or expressing his musical abilties by playing the drums as I'd like to think ;). He enjoyed looking around at everyone and having his picture taken. The scenery must have been too much for him. You can see he didn’t smile for one of these, but he still looks cute.
He didn't want to smile here, not even the cute cartoon characters would help.
Holton really wanted to be in this picture alone - he's letting Kaylee know! We'll have to work on his flirting skills.
His fascination with hitting the pumpkins begins
Waving hello
He wanted to stand to get a better view of all the pumpkins
His serious look

Picture time!
Bev was is in town for one night and needed to get her picture taken for a sorority event. For those that don't know, she was recently crowned the Valentine Queen of her Jasper, Alabama chapter. Apprently it's tradition that all women who receive this honor have to submit a professional picture to their national chapter. So, off to Kiddie Kandids we go in Babies R Us! What, isn't that where everyone goes for their pictures? Ha, ha! Bev also wanted her picture with Holton. So here are the pics from last night. It made me realize Adam and I really need to get a portrait with Holton. He's changing so much every day!
