Our new niece!

My younger brother, Patrick, and his wife Amanda just had their first baby yesterday! The day was even more exciting because they didn't find out the sex of the baby.

Patrick was going to make the announcement by either coming out with a pink or blue shirt. Now, for the record, I totally called it! I've been saying for months it was a girl.

Holton picked a flower for Amanda. He's such a little sweetheart.

Sutton Elaine Kelly - 7 pounds 1 ounce - 19 inches long & just all around perfect!

Isn't she just a doll? Well look out, Sutton! You are going to be one spoiled little girl...especially with me having two boys. We love you already.

"Running Around The Mountains, Here They Go"

This is top secret video that Adam took of Holton singing his version of this old song. I love how embarrassed he is at the end of the video when he finally notices Adam.

Holton's new jam

Adam played this lovely song for Holton...and it just stuck. He now loves it. Whenever we are in Adam's truck, he requests this song. Enjoy!

Adventures in Savannah

The day of our anniversary Adam and I enjoyed a couples massage at the Savannah Day Spa. It was soooo relaxing and just the perfect thing for us to do.

That night we had dinner at The Olde Pink House. I can't recommend this place enough. Not only was the food great with a romantic setting, but it's also haunted!

This is from a local website "Strange paranormal phenomena are still reported in the Old Pink House by patrons and employees. However, these spirits seem to be friendly and they only seem to add the old house's charm."

Can you see how Adam has his napkin under his arms here? Well, his napkin completely disappeared shorty after we took this picture. No, we didn't see it float away, but it really 100% disappeared! We thought that was kind of fun. At least the ghost wasn't a mean ghost...it just wanted to give Adam a hard time.

Adam's gross looking fish, but he loved it!

Our dessert

After dinner Adam tried to impress me with his newest southern inspired look.

Savannah is known for being very haunted. They have countless old homes throughout the city. One night we took a walking ghost tour. They took us by this house which is beyond creepy, even in broad day light.

This house has been vacant for 26 years, which tells you somethings up in there!

It's too long to get into the spooky story with this place, but click on this picture to see a larger version. Adam says you can see the little girl's face/head in that window. (the story has to do with the father making his daughter sit in a time out in that very window for 3 days. Long story, but she didn't make it)

The tour guide also gave us lots of background on "The Mercer House". This is the home made famous by the movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". Let me just say, of the 3 stories he told us about this house, this was as close as we wanted to get! I can't imagine living there.

We did a couple other tours while in Savannah, but I think you get the picture. Savannah and Charleston were both so much fun and had tons of things to offer. Highly encourage y'all to check them both out if you haven't.

It was really a great way to spend our 10 year anniversary while I'm preggo & wanting to avoid all situations that require me to be in a bathing suit!

Our swanky Savannah hotel

Adam and I had the best hotel in Savannah. It's a boutique hotel called "The Bohemian"....how cool are we? The best part about it - Adam got to use his Marriott points for our entire stay. For those of you that travel, you can see this isn't like any other Marriott hotel.

Of course I took a video of our room. They had that music playing when we arrived. We had an awesome corner room with huge windows.

The outside at night. We were in a perfect location! We were able to walk to everything around town.

All the hallways looked like this. I can't imagine how much they spent on all the little details throughout the hotel.

That guy doesn't look too happy with me taking a picture, but I wast trying to get a good pic of the crazy oyster shell chandeliers in the roof top bar.

Check out this chandelier in the dining room

Adam on a business call - looking very happy. Even the chairs in the lobby were so different.

Adam and I had to work off all of our awesome southern food. Even the work out room had art all over the wall and dark lighting. This was right next to my treadmill...a little unnerving while trying to get your exercise on.

I'll post pics of our sight seeing around town in the next post.

10 years, baby!!

Adam and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary on July 1st. It's so hard to believe it's been 10 years....that's a lifetime by Hollywood marriage standards. I'm very proud that we reached 10 years and I know that we'll have many more ahead of us. Adam is a wonderful husband and father....ok, enough with the mushy stuff. Let's get on to how we celebrated.

I knew I wanted to go to Savannah GA because I've never been. Adam recommended that we also spend a couple days in Charleston SC, so that's where we started our trip. Can I just say two words - FANTASTIC food! Those folks in Charleston know how to do it up right! We never had a bad meal.

Our first meal was at the "Hominy Grill". This place is a must! It's been on the Travel Channel, Rachel Ray, and the NY Times did a write up on it.

I had the "Big Nasty" sandwich. Heaven!

For dinner we ate at this lovely restaurant. The cool kids call is SNOB. It was awesome! Adam and I both love grits now! We had some great shrimp and grits.

We took a carriage tour through the city.

Finally we did a local tour called the "Gullah Tour". It was great! We sat in air conditioned van, saw several different churches, cemeteries, beautiful homes and learned a lot obout the history of Charleston.

We also learned about Phillip Simmons. He was a famed blacksmith whose wrought-iron gates and more than 500 other works grace gardens and entryways along the South Carolina coast and beyond U.S. borders (ok, so I borrowed that from USA today).

This was Phillip's home, which became a museum in June. We were able to go inside and visit his shop out back where he created his works of art.

They even had his artwork at the Charleston airport!

So Charleston was a great spot to visit. So much history there! I'll post pics of our Savannah trip in the next update. I know you are dying with anticipation!

We have video!

I recently upgraded my old iPhone to the brand new iPhone 4. A big part of why I wanted this phone was the video feature. I finally have video on my phone! I know, I know, who doesn't these days. But, I'm very excited about this! So you just be prepared for more video of Holton and Baby Baby.

Here is Holton showing off some of his Batman toys (his current obsession).

And here he is at our neighbor's pool - with his little girlfriend Hallie. Yep, he's pretty much saying "camera" for the first 15 seconds. See, even he's excited about the new video feature.
